 FAQ

  • My fee is $135 per 50-minute session.

Therapy isn’t just a financial investment, though.

It also requires a willingness to meet weekly for 50 minutes to tune in, to slow down, and to get curious about what’s happening beneath the surface. The process can stir discomfort and vulnerability, and those moments often mark the starting point for clarity and meaningful growth.

  • I do not accept insurance.

This choice is intentional. By not billing insurance, I’m able to prioritize your privacy and protect the confidentiality of your care. It also allows us greater freedom in the direction, pacing, and duration of your therapy without being limited by a diagnosis or the restrictions of third-party oversight.

I can provide you with a billable receipt, also known as a “superbill,” which you may submit to your insurance provider for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that I cannot guarantee reimbursement, and if using insurance is an important factor in your decision to begin therapy, I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to ask about their out-of-network coverage for mental health services.

  • A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the services you received, the fee, and a diagnosis of a mental health disorder. Insurance companies require this information in order to consider reimbursement for out-of-network services.

If you plan to submit superbills to your insurance provider, it's important to know that they may request access to your therapy records in the future as part of their review process. If that’s something you're considering, we’ll talk through what that might mean for you so you can make an informed decision.

  • When you complete your intake paperwork, you’ll be required to put a card on file for payment. This card will be charged the same day after each appointment.

I accept all major credit cards, and you may also use your HSA card. Please note that tracking your balance is your responsibility. If a card is declined, I’ll ask that you provide another form of payment before your next scheduled session.
